Privacy Policy — Ride Intercom

1. Who we are

Ride Intercom is a push-to-talk group voice application for cyclists and motorcyclists. We are operated by Riderline Technologies. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at riderlinetech@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service:

Voice audio — transmitted in real time during active sessions. Not recorded or stored.
Device identifiers — used to route your audio to the correct session.
Location (optional) — only if you enable it within the app. Used for group coordination features.
Email address — only if you submit the contact or waitlist form on our website.
App usage analytics — anonymous crash reports and performance data to improve the app.

3. What we do not collect

We do not record or store your voice.
We do not require account creation or personal registration to use the app.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
We do not show advertising within the app.

4. How we use your data

To route real-time voice between riders in the same session.
To respond to your support or contact enquiries.
To send product updates if you opted into the waitlist (you can unsubscribe any time).
To diagnose crashes and improve app performance.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app and website:

LiveKit — real-time voice infrastructure
Firebase (Google) — push notifications
Supabase — website contact form storage
Resend — email delivery

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and data handling practices.

6. Data retention

Voice audio is never stored. Session metadata (session ID, device identifier) is retained for a maximum of 30 days for debugging purposes, then deleted. Contact form submissions are retained until you request deletion.

7. Your rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing riderlinetech@gmail.com. We will respond within 7 business days.

8. Children

Ride Intercom is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 years of age.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified to waitlist subscribers and communicated in the app. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent update.
